We're long past update season, though maybe we could blame it on Daylight Savings? Er...no. Well never mind. Big Important Things are Afoot!
First off, you may have missed the fact that Adam P Knave has a new book out from us -- a collection of his finest web articles and news bits, blog speculations, and even some fancy new fiction! All just for you! He likes you, you know. He told us.
I Slept With Your Imaginary Friend is now on sale for the handy price of under ten bucks. Everybody loves under ten bucks! Available at the usual outlets, check the book's page for more details.
Also, coming soon, just in time to save the flagging retail economy, we are ridiculously tickled to bring you D.J. Kirkbride's new book Do You Believe in Ninjas? A Celebration of Ninjutsu in Verse. This collection includes several years of D.J.'s poetry from websites such as thefootnote.net, tlchicken.com, and, funnily enough, djkirkbride.com (what a weird coincidence).
However, it's not all recycling -- D.J.'s put together many, many new poems just for this volume, and as if that weren't enough for the desperate-for-ninja-poetry among you, the book is chock-full of wonderful illustrations by the illustrious (heh) artist Chris Moreno. Keep your eyes peeled -- the book will be on sale soon, soon enough for you to choke a Christmas stocking with several copies...
We are pleased to announce that the new edition of Sparks and Shadows, by Lucy A Snyder, is officially released and should be hitting store shelves, virtual and otherwise in the next few days. We've added the book page so you can read all about it, and added the links to where it should be appearing, though it will be a few days before it starts appearing. But feel free to click anyway, and hassle the booksellers - maybe they'll get it to you that much quicker...
This collection of seventeen short stories, seven poems and four humour essays from Lucy A. Snyder will appeal to any reader of the dark fantastic. By turns touching, chilling, surreal, wryly satiric, seductive, macabre and laugh-out-loud funny, this book will take you from adventures in the farthest reaches of outer space to the darkest shadows beneath the surface of modern America.
