Steve Burgess

Steve Burgess is an author, painter, and unending creative force. His free range upbringing in the forests and mountains of Canada infuse his western stories with the sights, sounds and wonders of that area.  He interweaves his stories with human tales, shared struggles, tested friendships, and the rugged versatility required by any person living at that time.  He has been a story teller all his life, whether it was making long bus rides tolerable with tall tales for fellow passengers, putting on plays for the neighbours and at school, or simply settling his brothers to sleep.  

He continues to write, paint, and contort wood with his family on the west coast of Canada.
